I am a PRO CERTIFIED TRANSLATOR and an Associate Member of ATA and ATIF.
For over 18 years experience I have translated and revised a number of materials (IT / Business / Web) for Brazilian and Spanish publishing market (cover/data sheet scans upon request), also working with top-level translations in several areas, for major companies. My writing style for translation is very lean, extremely accurate and fluent, for its journalistic and attractive style, and much suitable for accurately translating and writing all kinds of technical documentation.
I am Brazilian and I am a Tampa Bay Area-based BA in Applied Linguistic with over 18 years of experience in translating, interpreting, editing and teaching translation for various government and non-government agencies, business corporations through Brazil and international leading translation/localization companies in the language combinations.
Many years of experience, supplying translations for major players (direct clients) in several areas, plus a wide range of translation companies in USA, Canada, Europe (UK, Spanish, Portugal and more), Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile and more) and Asia (Hong Kong and China).
I use very complete and powerful software (SDL/Trados, SDL/Trados 2009/Studio, Catalyst, Idiom, LocStudio, Helium, Passolo, NLW and more) and hardware equipment, with backup units. My weekly capacity ranges to 20.000 words. I have full capacity for research in a wide range of resources available (Web, libraries, personal library of catalogues, books, manuals, dictionaries and industry standards, and more, plus a wide range of personal glossaries).
